On June 20, 2026, bowlers, sponsors, families, friends, and supporters came together at Jefferson Valley Lanes for our 5th Annual Bowl-a-Thon— and once again, the Nor-West community showed up in a big way.
Thanks to your incredible support, the event raised nearly $21,400 to help support FONW's mission.
And this year's Bowl-a-Thon helped us reach an especially exciting milestone: FONW made its final contribution toward Nor-West's new bus!

For the past three years, a major focus of FONW's Bowl-a-Thon fundraising has been helping Nor-West purchase a much-needed new transportation bus.
This summer, FONW made its final $6,100 contribution, bringing our total support for the new bus to $56,100. Combined with a $75,000 Community Development Block Grant secured by Westchester County on behalf of Nor-West, that funding has made the new bus a reality.
And now it's being built! Nor-West's new 24-passenger bus is currently in production, with delivery anticipated in late September. We can't wait to see it on the road and serving Nor-West participants for years to come.
Nor-West's new 2027 Ford Micro Bird D-Series bus is currently in production.
This year's Bowl-a-Thon was made possible by an extraordinary group of sponsors and community supporters. Their generosity helped make the day a success — and helped FONW complete its three-year commitment to funding Nor-West's new bus.
